All you need to know about the Dore Programme
Unsure what to expect?
At the start of the Dore Programme, you’ll go through an indepth assessment to make sure our approach is right for you. Don't worry it is all straight forward and pain-free.
We’ll then prescribe for you a series of easy to follow, highly personalised exercises designed to develop the cerebellum - The Skill Learning Centre of the brain. Your programme will be regularly updated to meet your developing needs.

Your first visit
Your first visit to a Dore centre enables us to assess several key functions directly related to your ability to learn.
You will be guided by a programme specialist through an extensive (but pain-free) assessment - taking about three to four hours. The assessment uses a range of sophisicated measuring equipement and includes a balance test, eye-tracking test, dyslexia screening and ability analysis.
Once you have completed the assessments, one of our experienced programme practitioners can then compile a detailed report outlining your personalised programme of exercises.
The exercises
The highly personalised exercises take around ten minutes, twice a day. A typical exercise is to balance on one leg while you throw a bean bag from one hand to another for a minute. We provide all the equipment you need for your exercise programme.
We’ll re-assess you every six to eight weeks during your Programme at your local centre. Your programme will be regularly updated to suit your developing needs. Typically, the programme takes 12 to 18 months to complete.
